"Responsibilities 1.Supervise quality of R&D projects. This includes: a.Work together with Project Managers to ensure compliance to Design Control Policy and to related policies and procedures. b.Understand products and their manufacture in detail so that able to give professional input to design documents, study design and other project issues. c.Review and approve design documents under the scope of the Design Control Policy. d.Write design quality documents (e.g. Quality Master Plan, Risk Management Plan and Report). e.Check raw data and calculations of design verification and aging studies and their transfer to reports. f.Coordinate control of design changes and ensure that changes correctly incorporated into design documents such as product specifications, manufacturing protocols, etc. g.Do all the above as part of project teams with commitment to project timelines. 2.Ensure that R&D policies and SOPs are suitable for our needs and meet requirements, and update procedures where necessary. 3.Review and approve adoption of new and updated standards in R&D and supervise resulting required updates of Medinol documents. 4.Ensure compliance of R&D laboratories to GMP requirements and procedures. This includes: a.Approximately monthly informal audits of laboratory compliance. b.Help laboratory staff to correct deficiencies and improve compliance. c.Review and approve procedures for laboratory compliance and their updates. d.Review and approve equipment documentation and test procedures. Requirements 1.Significant experience in quality assurance in the medical industry / medical devices. 2.Experience in the application of design controls to medical devices – preferable. 3.Education – B.Sc. or B.A. in a relevant scientific / technological field. 4.English – high level. 5.Capable of independent work in an organized and systematic way. 6.Ability to work in parallel on many tasks and to organize priorities in order to keep to project timetables. 7.Attention to detail. 8.Good people skills – ability to work with people at all levels in Medinol helpfully but assertively in order to obtain their cooperation. 9.Creative thinking.
