A successful online web-operating company is looking to hire a "software-tester" to execute quality assurance tests to establish quality standards including reliability, usability and performance.
Job description:
• Design and execute test plans.
• Record and document results and compare to expected results.
• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
• Generate historical analysis of test results.
• Document anomalies and other issues.
• Maintain database of software defects.
• Ensure compliance with general programming best practices and accepted web standards.
• Participate in application planning meetings (on a need basis).
• Design and publish recurring reports for developers, project team and executives.
Experience & Skills
• strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases - must
• knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA – must
• Experience in Web application testing of 1 year at least – must
• Bachelor degree – advantage
