Izuba Energy is an emerging markets renewable energy project developer with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. The Tamid Fellow will assist us in assessing various renewable opportunities in Africa as well as (depending on specific abilities) work on current projects we are developing. The type of work varies and may range from intensive research to financial modelling to preparing background materials to engineering studies to understanding a country's investment climate and tax code. Flexibility and ability to learn quickly are essential.

C++ Developer – Description & Requirement
C++ DeveloperWe are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate individual to help with our core Computer Vision (CV) team.
The team is responsible for building our machine-learning based solution for image recognition and understanding. Our recognition technology uses advanced deep-learning algorithms to gather and analyze visual information from images, on which we build our disruptive solution for recognition and identification under challenging conditions.
The developer will take part in designing and implementing the CV deep-learning algorithms our researchers develop, using advanced C++ techniques.
Job Description:
• Work with algorithms researchers to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions
• Review designs by other teammates and perform code reviews
• Work with QA to ensure high quality of releases
Requirements:
• A degree/student in Computer Science / SW Eng.
• Experience developing in C++ on VisualStudio – a must.
• Excellent knowledge of C++ with ability to write clean, maintainable, and eloquent code in C++.
• Experience working with the OPENCV library - preferred.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design.
• GPGPU knowledge is an advantage
• Advantage for experience with Image Processing algorithms.
• Advantage for experience in development for Android (native).
