The work involves developing multi-tier Web front-end/back-end systems, DB interfacing, script programming, OO design and data structures representing biological concepts. Required Academic Education: B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent work experience. Strong experience in developing user interfaces for front-end / back-end systems. Strong experience in developing Web applications. Hand on experience with: Perl programming , HTML, DOM, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON. Experience with Data Bases (SQL, data layer modules). Understanding software life cycle, multi-tier design, OO and modularity concepts. Good interpersonal skills. Strong team worker, good collaboration abilities. Fast and flexible learner. Advantages: Background in ExtJS, Oracle, bioinformatics, system level knowledge of Unix/Linux. Also desired: Background in mysql, RubyOnRails, PHP, DJANGO, Catalyst, XML, JQuery, Java, Joomla.
