Title: Hands-on R&D Manager
Reports to: GM Israel
Job Description:
Managing both internal and external R&D teams the responsibilities will include professional managing of the development efforts and day to day activities (Including communication with outsource), coding and debugging, version upload to production, product roadmap planning and execution.
Technical support to the customer support group is an essential part of the work.
Responsible for the infrastructure stability & scalability in a 24/7 production environment.
The position combines both managerial and hands on responsibilities.
Qualifications needed:
• Experience in managing development teams – at least 3 years.
• Good knowledge and working experience with the following technologies:
 Experience in programming large scale projects in PHP.
 Experience in OOP over PHP frameworks.
 Experience in developing large scale database driven systems using non SQL-based databases; Extensive knowledge of SQL.
 Hands-on knowledge of:
 PHP
 JavaScript
 Internet protocols
 Knowledge in administrating Linux servers
 Knowledge in MongoDB
 Experience with Linux environments and web servers
• Ability to provide in-house-customer support 24/7 and help in a friendly and caring approach.
• A high level of integrity, fast learner and fast coder, yet with a high level of quality, authentic, creative and highly independent.
• Project planning and road-map planning skills.
Personal skills
• High level of English, Quick learning abilities, Good people skills, highly organized and methodological, 24/7 Availability.
• Excellent intercommunication skills
• A leader in nature
• Self managed.
